This 2004 Renault Grande Scenic car bonnet is a unique piece of art created for Bangers and Cash, the UK’s first art roadshow banger rally from Sheffield to Monte Carlo which took place on 21st – 25th September 2018. It driven by sponsor and artist Bangers and cash creator Matt Cockayne and his friends known as Team Goo.

Team Goo started the rally in pole position dressed as bangers and cash …. hot dogs covered in pound notes!  Checking in at every single checkpoint along the route, one highlight was visiting the San Siro Stadium in Milan for a spot of shopping with friends Team Goo – The Blob where they were surrounded by Japanese tourists asking to be photographed with them and their cars!

Sheffield artist Matt Cockayne has been creating local art for the past 5 years. With a strong brand and a passion for Sheffield, he has gained a loyal band of followers and fans of his colourful striking art. The brain child behind Bangers and Cash, what he once thought was a crazy idea is now a reality and Matt can't wait to get behind the wheel and take this art exhibtion on the road.

Keen Owls fan Matt Cockayne has followed Wednesday all his life, so based this bonnet and the whole car on his favourite football club who then, in turn, proudly sponsored the vehicle for Team Goo.

Delivery/collection options: Collection in person or by courier on Wednesday 24th October or Friday 26thOctober  from  our warehouse in S9. You must organise your own delivery/collection at your own expense, and must be by arrangement only.
