Artist Bio

Annie Everingham is a freelance artist and multi disciplinary designer based in Newcastle, NSW. An intuitive and colour driven creative, Annie was formally trained in fashion & textile designs and combines a love of print design, interiors, textures and abstract patterns to encapsulate the elements of beauty found in everyday life. She creates dreamy contemporary paintings primarily in acrylic and ink as well as her own hand & digitally crafted range of home and lifestyle products which are stocked in more than 15 stores nationally. Her work is richly layered with references to the world of textiles, pattern, interiors, architecture, clashing cultures, flowers and natural elements. Passionately exploring technique, composition and colour, she brings a bright, youthful and unreserved signature style to each new work. Her paintings explore the intersections of line and colour, with an emphasis on bold hyper coloured shapes, feminine pastels, and expressive layering. Excited by every possibility and pushing herself to uncover new potential, she is forever relishing in the pure joy of creating, as well as constantly evolving her style and dynamic approach to art making.

'Back To The Future' will launch in-store at Abicus Newcastle on Thursday 24th November 5-8pm, with the exhibition and online silent auction running through to Sunday 11th December 9pm.
